This Privacy Policy explains how Spear Leads, operating the Accident Legal Helpline brand, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It should be read together with our Collection Notice, Contact Consent, Partner Disclosure, TCPA Consent, and Privacy Choices.

Who We Are

Accident Legal Helpline is an introduction and matching service operated by Spear Leads. We help people who request accident-related legal help get connected with independent attorneys, law firms, legal intake providers, or related service partners that may be able to assist.

You can contact us at help@accidentlegalhelpline.com.

The information we collect depends on how you use the website. It may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and contact preferences
  • Location details such as city, state, ZIP code, or postcode
  • Accident type, accident date, injury details, claim status, and other information you choose to submit
  • Information about insurance, representation status, or preferred contact times where you provide it
  • Records of enquiries, consent, opt-out requests, partner matching requests, and communications
  • Technical data such as device, browser, IP address, referral source, page activity, cookies, pixels, analytics, and attribution data

We do not ask you to provide information unless it is relevant to operating the website, responding to you, maintaining records, or matching you with relevant partners.

How We Collect Information

We may collect personal information when you:

  • Complete a form, quiz, survey, or case review request
  • Email, call, text, or otherwise communicate with us
  • Use the website, including through cookies, analytics, security tools, and advertising technologies
  • Interact with our advertising, content, landing pages, or social media pages
  • Are referred to us by an advertising, affiliate, or campaign provider

Why We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Operate, secure, and improve the website and matching service
  • Respond to enquiries, support requests, opt-outs, and privacy requests
  • Assess which accident-law, legal intake, attorney, law firm, or related service partners may be relevant to your request

When We Disclose Information

Partners are responsible for their own privacy practices once they receive your details. You can ask us who received your details by emailing help@accidentlegalhelpline.com.

Marketing and Contact Preferences

If you submit your contact details, we or relevant partners may contact you about your request by phone, SMS, email, or similar channels. Some calls or messages may be automated where you provide consent. See our TCPA Consent and Contact Consent for more detail.

You can opt out of marketing or request no further contact by using an unsubscribe link, replying STOP where available, telling the caller, asking to be placed on a Do Not Call list, or emailing help@accidentlegalhelpline.com. If a partner contacts you directly, you may also need to opt out with that partner because they control their own communication systems.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, advertising technologies, call tracking, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand performance, improve content, measure campaigns, attribute enquiries, and protect against misuse. You can control some cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect website features.

Storage, Security, and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, business operations, legal compliance, records, disputes, fraud prevention, and audit needs. Some service providers may process or store information outside your state, province, country, or region.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain marketing, targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities. To make a request, email help@accidentlegalhelpline.com with enough information for us to identify the relevant record. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

California and other state privacy laws may provide additional rights. See Your Privacy Choices for opt-out information.

Do-Not-Track and Minors

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing browser Do-Not-Track signals has been finalised, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

The website is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect or market to children under 18. If you believe a minor provided information, contact us at help@accidentlegalhelpline.com.

Complaints and Changes

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at help@accidentlegalhelpline.com. We will review the concern and respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, partner network, technology, or legal requirements change. The current version will be indicated by the last updated date on this page.
